Asian American Heritage Festival

World Vegan Vision was able to get a booth for Vegan Outreach at the 2019-05-19 Asian American heritage Festival. Also visit Asian American Festival main web site.

The festival was held on May 19, 2019 from 11AM – 7PM.

About 150 persons were educated in the benefits of vegan diet.

 

Gandhi Goes Global 2019

The following week we had a similar booth at the Gandhi Goes Global expo held from Friday 5/17/2019 – Sun 5/19/2019. While the entire show was poorly attended, we had the pleasure of meeting  a founding member couple, Nitin and Choula Vora, who visited  the booth and were updated of our new focus from vegetarian to vegan diet.

OFBJP Celebration of Narendra Modi Victory

An event was organized on May 30, 2019 by OFBJP at the Royal Albert’s Palace. World Vegan Vision members Vinod Shah and Avinash Kachhy distributed postcards with IDY2019 and 8 Week Vegan Diet Challenge information. Ms. uma Swaminathan and Ms. Bina Sabapathy were also present.

Sanskriti of NJ

On May 31, 2019, Dr. Shrenik Shah delivered a lecture and Q.&A. program at the SAMBANDH CLUB – FOURTH MEET OF 2019 of Sanskritinj.org in Livingston NJ. The 20 minute talk ran to 40 minutes and resulted in a future invitation for a main event.

Local Meetup – Happy Hour in Somerset NJ

On may 31, 2019, a local meetup in the form of a Happy Hour at the Fairbridge Hotel in Somerset NJ was organized. Josh, Pranay, Rhonda, Avinash, Nishith, Jagdip, Rajat and Greg discussed vegan topics from 5PM – 7PM over vegan snacks and beer.
